This is me looking smart with my NY Times in NY...waiting to get shuttled to La Guardia.
This is Horacio enthralled to be seeing snow for the third time in his lifetime. These seemingly benign flakes "snowballed' into a huge storm that caused our flight to be canceled. Everything worked out cool, so no sweat.
These fancy wieners were at Gray's Papaya, where Horacio was bound and determined to nosh the last night. We walked for blocks...but ran into Jane Fonda en route, so seeing an old celebrity was worth it (My mom and I used to work out to her 80s videos when I was 3).
I'm not going to insult you by explaining this one.
Getting flagged down in Times Square.
Freezing my blocks off on a block; feeding the homeless by the WTC site.
Cool melty guy statue.
I had to take a photo of this, because I find it is the most well-intended, yet awkwardly named sign in history.
Rattin' around in the subway.
Gettin' shady in Chinatown

The first picture I ever took in NYC was the "people with AIDS plaza" photo... it has become a staple of the city's photographic entities... "oh look, there's the stature of liberty, and over there, the Empire State building, and what's that? Oh, of course! People with A.I.D.S. plaza sign!" Geez.
